(If you choose to drink alcohol, please drink responsibly!)
Let’s get this party started! Margaritas!
I’m a sucker for a simple lime-y margarita. Free of mixes, using only fresh ingredients, these Margaritas on the Rocks by 2CookinMamas are sure to please. Sometimes simple and traditional is exactly what you need.
Dietary restrictions? Trying to follow a paleo lifestyle? No problem-o. The Best Skinny Margarita Recipe by Wholesome Yum utilizes liquid stevia to keep this margarita low carb, sugar-free and paleo. Go ahead, feel free to indulge.
Becoming popular in restaurants, the CoronaRita is a hit for those who can’t choose between a beer and a margarita. Fear not, this recipe ensures you will never need to choose. The CoronaRita Frozen Margarita Beer Cocktail by Delicious Table is easy to make at home, goes with all of your favorite Cinco de Mayo foods, and will be a sure hit at your fiesta!
I’ve talked about these beauties before and I’m excited to talk about them again. No list of Cinco de Mayo cocktails would be complete without these Blood Orange Margaritas by The Rising Spoon. Blood orange + margarita = Happiness. And that is an equation I can get behind.
I won’t lie, I love herbs in cocktails and basil is one of my favorite herbs. Paired with Blueberries? This Blueberry Basil Margaritas by Super Golden Bakes will elevate any Cinco de Mayo fiesta. Plus these are JUST. SO. BEAUTIFUL.
Peach is the perfect spring and summer flavor! And even funnier that these Frozen Peach Margaritas by We Are Not Martha were born of the desire to forget a college memory involving Peach Schnapps. Who hasn’t been there? These completely Peach-Schnapps-Free margaritas use only the freshest ingredients.
Spicy drinks draw me in like a moth to flame. These Grapefruit Habanero Margaritas by Platings and Pairings are my nirvana. A little spicy, a little tart. Perfect for your Cinco de Mayo Cocktail fiesta!
Are you a do-it-yourselfer? Then this is the perfect set up for you. The Perfect Make Your Own Margarita Bar by What a Girl Eats is all about choice. Become your own mixologist and create the perfect margarita. Let your guests do the same. Everyone’s happy. Ole!
Margaritas not for you? Read on:
People have very strong opinions about pina coladas. But if you are a lover, this Best Pina Colada Recipe by Zona Cooks will make you very happy. Get out your blender and scale up the recipe for your next fiesta. After all, everyone loves a good umbrella drink!
Love Rum? These Sparkling Pineapple Mojitos by Fried Dandelions are light, refreshing and would be perfect for your sunny, afternoon gathering. A little rum, a little prosecco, a little pineapple, a lot of bliss.
So I’m back to Tequila with this one, but with elderflower liquor. Elderflower Liquor. If y’all haven’t tried this magical elixir, I suggest you hop on this bandwagon immediately. This Elderflower Citrus Paloma by Feast in Thyme combines tequila, elderflower liquor and lime simple syrup. Yes. Please.
Sometimes your fiesta calls for drinks by the pitcher. And what is better served in pitchers than Sangria? This Springtime Moscato Sangria by The Crumby Kitchen checks ALL of the boxes. Bubbly, fruity, sweet, made with fresh ingredients. Perfection.
I know that cilantro can be a polarizing herb, people either LOVE it or HATE it, but I am firmly team cilantro. And this Moscow Mule with Cilantro and Lime by Major Hoff Takes a Wife sounds like my idea of heaven. Perfect for your partygoers that don’t like tequila, this unique drink features vodka. And ginger beer! I’m all in.
This Watermelon Frose by Yummy Mummy Kitchen may be the most refreshing cocktail on our Cinco de Mayo cocktails list. And perhaps the most versatile as it can be presented as a non-alcoholic watermelon slushie, pleasing your guests of ALL ages. Pretty in Pink indeed.
Hold the alcohol please.
Sometimes you need a great non-alcoholic drink. We get it. Non-alcoholic does not have to be boring or plain. Add one of these to your fiesta to guarantee a good time for everyone! (and don’t forget about the Watermelon Slushie version of the Watermelon Frose above, it’s a great non-alcoholic option as well…)
It turns out a mojito does not need rum (I have my own college story involving rum). The Non Alcoholic Mojito by Happy Kitchen Rocks looks like an easy solution! It features caster sugar which is a form of sugar that is superfine and dissolves easily so it is perfect for drinks. It can be difficult to find in the US, so an easy substitute is granulated sugar pulsed 15-20 times in a food processor or blender.
Looking for a fun non-alcoholic margarita? This Virgin Strawberry Rhubarb Margarita by Coffee With Us 3 will fit the bill. The perfect sweet and tart mix, you won’t even miss the alcohol!
