Jump to RecipeAs everyone knows, I love my Instant Pot. Is it always faster? No. But I don’t have to worry about pots boiling over. I don’t have to continually stir anything. I can go take a shower while cooking. That, to me, is the ultimate in multitasking. So if I have the option to make something in my Instant Pot I usually choose it!
And although I am not much of a breakfast fan, I have found that having these Tropical Steel Cut Oats already made up in my refrigerator makes breakfast easier for both me and my kids. Filling, just a little bit sweet, and filled with as much as fruit as you like, these Tropical Steel Cut Oats are an easy go to morning delight.
Gluten free? No problem-just make sure your steel cut oats are marked gluten free. (Bob’s Red Mill and even Quaker make steel cut oats that are specifically gluten free). Vegan? Also no problem. Just substitute coconut oil for the butter and maple syrup for the honey and you are good to go.
