I have never met a guacamole that I haven’t liked. But this Best Ever Fiesta Guacamole is beyond delicious. Flavorful and full of healthy fats, this is the guacamole that I’ve been making for my own family for years. You may be surprised at the secret ingredient that makes this simple Fiesta Guacamole out of this world.
Fresh ingredients are the key to guacamole. Fresh avocados, fresh onion, fresh lime juice.
But after eating guacamole with my high school bestie, Molly (more about her here), I realized that her guacamole was better than any I had ever eaten. (And I’ve done my research-truly!)
After some adaptation of Molly’s recipe, I present to you The Best Ever Fiesta Guacamole. The secret ingredient is Worcestershire Sauce. And before you wrinkle your nose, try it. There is something about the richness and saltiness of this sauce that adds depth to a batch of fresh guacamole. Add a little Green Jalapeno Pepper Tabasco Sauce (*affiliate link*). Don’t worry, the sauce is mild! Give it a stir and you have the perfect fiesta guacamole.
Less than 10 minutes and you can enjoy this Best Ever Fiesta Guacamole.
This is a quick and easy guacamole sure to be a huge hit at your next Fiesta!
- 4 avocados
- 1 Tablespoon fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Green Jalapeno Pepper Tabasco
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup red onion, finely diced (1 medium onion)
- 1 cup tomato, chopped (1 medium tomato)
In a medium sized bowl, smash the avocados into a chunky mixture
Mix in lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, tabasco sauce, and salt. Taste and adjust seasonings to taste.
Fold in diced onion and diced tomato.
Garnish with additional diced onion and diced tomato.
Serve and enjoy.
- Each serving is approximately 1/4 cup.
- Serve with chips, vegetables or as a spread on sandwiches or crackers.
- Guacamole left exposed to air will start to darken. To slow this process, press saran wrap tightly against the top of the guacamole. Stir before serving.
