Ingredients

  • Apples:
  • 5 medium apples cored, peeled and sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. In a medium bowl combine apples, 1 Tablespoon of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg.
  3. Pour spiced apples into a 9 x 13 inch pan
  4. In the same medium bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, melted butter, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg.
  5. Pour oat mixture over apples.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
