Avocado Toast with Bacon and Sriracha

A simple, snack trend that we hope won't go away anytime soon. Easily customizable to your own preferences! Don't like spicy-leave off the sriracha. Vegetarian-leave off the bacon. Just don't leave off the sea salt, that is key!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of your favorite bread
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 slice of bacon cooked and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of cilantro chopped
  • Sriracha to taste
  • Coarse sea salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast the slices of bread in a toaster.
  2. Slice avocado in half and remove the pit.
  3. Using a fork, smash the avocado (this can be done while still in the peel).
  4. Scoop the smashed avocado out of the peel of one half of the avocado and spread on toasted bread.
  5. Repeat with other half of avocado, scooping it onto the second piece of toasted bread.
  6. Drizzle sriracha to taste over the avocado.
  7. Sprinkle bacon, cilantro and sea salt over the two slices of toast.
  8. Eat and enjoy!
