The weather has turned in Minneapolis! Finally we have nice temperatures and sunshine. That can only mean one thing…summer grilling! We’ve cleaned off our grills and our patio tables. We’ve taken out the deck cushions and are getting the planters ready for flowers. Finally, we’ve gone in search of some fabulous summer grilling recipes from our blogger friends and we can’t wait to share them with you! Weber Original Kettle This is the grill I use at my cabin when I have the time to deal with heating up coals. There is nothing like cooking with charcoal! I also use this Weber Chimney Starter to get my coals going.
Weber Genesis II Gas Grill This is the grill I use at home where life is more hectic. A turn of the dial gets me cooking quickly!

We’ll get started with a delicious (and healthy) salad from our own blog. Asian Chicken Salad with Grilled Vegetables by With Two Spoons is a simple medley of grilled chicken and vegetables with an Asian inspired dressing. My kids love it, I bet yours will too!

I first discovered grilled pork tenderloin when a colleague of mine invited me over for dinner. I was hooked. This BBQ Pork Tenderloin by The Hedgecombers reminds me of that great evening! And it turns out pork tenderloin is super easy to do on the grill!

Twice this month I’ve had tofu. I had never previously thought I liked it, but turns out I do! This Vegan Tofu Satay by Rhian’s Recipes that is served with a delicious peanut sauce would be a great way to start making grilled tofu at home!
Sesame ginger marinade piqued my interest in this recipe. Sesame Ginger Tofu Kabobs by Green Scheme also uses my favorite Trader Joe’s seasoning: Everything but the Bagel (Affiliate link). Put this one on your meal plan!
I’m trying to get more healthy (more on that later) and part of that is increasing my veggie intake. Stuffed Grilled Peppers by Foodie Girl Chicago fits that bill. Plus yogurt sauce.

Desserts:
This is such a simple recipe, but this simple recipe can easily be made into a guilty pleasure. Pair this Grilled Pineapple by Dancing Through the Rain with some vanilla frozen yogurt and a drizzle of caramel sauce and you will be in heaven.

Coleman Grill Tongs There is nothing more important than a good set of Grill Tongs. These are relatively inexpensive and hold up well. (We’ve had ours for years!)
Vegetable Grill Basket This is perfect for grilling those smaller items-vegetables, potatoes, even shrimp.
Bamboo Skewers (remember to soak before using) or Metal Skewers for making kabobs.
And a PSA to never use a grill brush with metal bristles as they can get dislodged from the brush and end up in your food (and your throat-eek!).
